Why UV?
Fish have overwhelmingly more UV light under water. The 20% of natural light that is in the water can only penetrate up to 6 feet before it is 100% UV light. UV reflection is the main source of light fish use to see.
The UV Difference
Crawfish, Shad, Minnows, Worms, all types of food to bass, reflect UV light. Bass use this UV reflection to see their prey. Our tungsten heads also reflect UV light. As an Ambush Lure Co. Jig falls through the water column, the UV reflection gives our jigs "headlights". Getting the attention of bass quicker and leading to more strikes.
